Professional Membership (£45 per annum)
(“BATH” designation after the name)
Professional Members shall be entitled to one vote per professional member. Professional membership shall be restricted to individual practitioners in good professional standing whose qualifications satisfy the Management Committee.
To be eligible to vote on Association matters or stand for election to the Management Committee, the Professional Member shall not be in arrears of membership fees. The committee, with a majority vote, has the right to refuse membership to any applicant. The committee’s decision is final. Where an application is refused, the current administration fee will be deducted from the balance of monies to be refunded.
Associate Membership (£25 per annum)
(“BATH Associate” designation after the name)
Associate Membership shall be a non-voting membership category bestowed on individual practitioners who do not qualify for Professional Membership but are otherwise eligible to join the Association.
Student Membership (£25 per annum)
Student Membership shall be a non-voting membership category bestowed on individuals who are student or trainee practitioners and who otherwise meet the requirements for membership of the Association.
Affiliate Membership (£15 per annum)
Affiliate Membership will be bestowed on:-
(i). individuals who are practitioners but whose professional qualifications do not satisfy the Management Committee as being suitable for Professional Membership but who otherwise meet the requirements for membership of the Association;
(ii). individuals who are not practitioners, but who nevertheless have an interest in the therapeutic profession or alternative medicine or complementary medicine or similar, or some combination of these who otherwise meet the requirements for membership of the Association; and,
(ii). non-professional corporate bodies who, were they individuals, would otherwise meet the requirements for membership of the Association.
Affiliate Members may not vote on Association matters, nor may they stand in election to the Management Committee.
